Women’s Fellowship Spring Program Highlights ‘Hands on Hartford’

The Women’s Fellowship Spring Program and Luncheon on March 9 will feature a talk by a former interim pastor at Storrs Congregational Church on her experiences with Hands On Hartford, a social service nonprofit organization that serves Hartford’s neediest residents in the areas of food, housing, and economic security.

The Reverend Karen Bailey-Francois, associate pastor at the Ellington Congregational Church, chairs the Board of Directors for Hands On Hartford, and for the  SCC Women’s Fellowship event she will talk about the Hartford program as well as models of community help for the neediest citizens of our state and beyond.

The March 9 Spring Program and Luncheon, which is open to the public, will begin at 11:15 in the SCC Parish House Lounge at 2 North Eagleville Road, adjacent to the University of Connecticut’s main campus in Storrs.
