Library News…

And into the Fall season the library will go with support being offered to the Just Peace informational gatherings, Faith Formation and Outreach activities and meeting your individual reading needs.  In the meantime, we find ourselves in the middle of a major painting project in the library.

As to the painting project, we are hopeful to completely “weed”  the children’s collection before packing those books.  We are anticipating relocating books on the shelves in what we hope will be more useful to all who use the library.  The obvious is that we are running out of shelf room and this is a good time to slim down the selections a little bit.   If you know what your needs for resources may be in the Fall months it would be helpful to us if you would borrow those books very soon. We usually have a one month borrowing period and it can be extended by just letting us know a date that meets your needs.

The paint color has been decided and it will be the same as in the Faith Formation room.  This will be more complimentary to the beautiful cherry media center.  We anticipate that is the section of the library and the window wall that will be the first to be painted.

So, please, do not forget to check and see if we have the books you all enjoy on the shelves as we proceed.  We will be working with the Just Peace group and Pastor Nancy in her responsibilities for the educational programs for all ages.

Thanks, everyone!
