We continue to meet right through the summer every Sunday, 9 am, Memorial Room in the Parish House.  We are now discussing Chapter 7 (Vision & Mind) and Chapter 8 (The Rise of the Soul) in The Gospel of Mary of Magdala, Jesus and the First Woman Apostle. 

This is the only existing early Christian gospel written in the name of a woman – – Mary Magdalene  – – and presents an often radical interpretation of Jesus’ teachings.  The former attempt to portray her as a prostitute is now deemed a myth, arising from jealousy in a male dominated culture.  Read how “the true self is spiritual and nongendered.”
