Walk For Warmth: November 24, 2019

Categories: Carillon Newsletter,News,ReachingOut

Plan to join other SCC Members & Friends to participate in this year’s Walk for Warmth happening the Sunday before Thanksgiving.

On Sunday, November 24, Windham Area Interfaith Ministry (WAIM) will hold their annual Walk for Warmth to raise money for the organization’s 2019 Energy Assistance Program. WAIM is actively seeking people from greater Windham and throughout Connecticut to support this cause. The non-profit’s Energy Assistance Program has served as a safety net for low-income working families in the greater Windham area for the last 26 years, helping keep utilities on in cold weather.

Gather at: First Congregational Church, 199 Valley Street, Willimantic
Registration: 1:00 PM
Interfaith Service: 1:30 PM
Walk For Warmth: 2:00 PM
