Primarily through the Justice and Witness Ministries of the United Church of Christ, the Board calls attention to various issues of social justice, from long-standing problems as well as critical situations that require immediate response. Currently, we are calling attention to the United Church of Christ's special appeal for the humanitarian crisis in Iraq. For more than a decade humanitarian relief efforts have been underway throughout Iraq. With the onset of war, the crisis is expected to expand exponentially. Access to food, water, shelter, and medical care have been seriously compromised. You may make a donation to this fund by making a check payable to Storrs Congregational Church and note Olive Branch Appeal in the memo line. Ï
