Board of Deacons

UCC Daily Devotional

The Board of Deacons assists the ministers in the pastoral care of the Church; provides for the maintenance of public worship and advises the ministers on its conduct; prepares and serves the Lord’s Supper; assists in the enlistment and welcoming of new members; determines membership status; keeps a register, with addresses, of the members of the Church, with dates and modes of their reception and removal; and issues letters of transfer.

Call to Care Ministry

The Call to Care Ministry consists of the ministers ex officio, the Call to Care Coordinator who chairs the committee and four additional members appointed by the Board of Deacons annually at the Board's first meeting. The coordinator and members may be re-appointed.

Our church's Growing in Faith document lays out ways to nurture our faith, one of which is  "Devotions: Deepen your spiritual life through Bible and devotional readings..."

There are several Internet websites that offer daily devotions which we would like to offer up to you. (Click on a website address below for easy access.) These sites are a wonderful, no-cost resource, whether at home or work. See if any of these may be to your liking.
