Call to Care Ministry Committee. The Call to Care Ministry Committee consists of the ministers ex officio, the Call to Care Coordinator who chairs the committee and four additional members appointed by the Board of Deacons annually at the Board's first meeting. The coordinator and members may be re-appointed.

Permanent Diaconate. Each Deacon, at the completion of his or her term, is enrolled in the Permanent Diaconate, and continues a member thereof as long as he or she remains a member of the Church. Members of the Permanent Diaconate may be called upon to assist the Board of Deacons in the performance of its duties.

Our church's GROWING IN FAITH document lays out ways to nurture our faith, one of which is  "Devotions: Deepen your spiritual life through Bible and devotional readings..."

There are several Internet websites that offer daily devotions which we would like to offer up to you. (Click on a website address below for easy access.) These sites are a wonderful, no-cost resource, whether at home or work. See if any of these may be to your liking.

www.dailyword.com
Also a monthly booklet available in our Parish House Lounge.

Note: The last two websites were recommended by the Director of the United Church of Christ Resource Center, but UCC does not have its own daily devotional website.
