The next gathering of the SCC Book Club is Sun., September 21, 2014, at 7:00 pm, and Canada by Richard Ford is the book selection.
This New York Times best seller is an interesting read about a young family that is down and out of luck in Montana in the 1960s. Del Parson’s parents rob a bank and his twin sister runs away to California What will happen to Del as he moves on to the Saskatchewan prairie?
Everyone is welcome! There is always room for one more person and voice. Come even if you haven’t opened a page or if you have a real strong or not so strong feeling about the book after reading it.
