Introducing SCC “MMM–MM”

All are invited to join Storrs Congregational Church’s new Monday Movement Meetings, held at Mansfield Middle School.

Dudley and Wendy Hamlin, Jamie Leonard, Killian, and Eiley warmly invite you to move with them as they train for the Manchester Thanksgiving Day Road Race — and you’re welcome whether you’re training for something, nothing, or simply your own well being.

All forms of movement are encouraged. Walk, run, stroll, play in the grass, bring a lawn chair and a picnic basket, and simply enjoy the evening. Participation is completely flexible — no commitment required.

The Mansfield Middle School grounds offer several great options:

– A 0.3 mile paved loop around the baseball, softball, and soccer fields

– An accessible forest trail connecting to Bicentennial Park, its playground, and the Nipmuck Trail

– A long jump pit area that may even serve as a sandbox for the younger ones

The Movement begins September 14 from 5:30 – 6:30

and continues on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month until Thanksgiving.
