Holy Week and Easter @ SCC
March 25: Palm Sunday
- 10:00 am — Worship service with Palm Procession (procession may begin outdoors in PH Courtyard or directly in the Meeting House, depending on weather)
March 29: Maundy Thursday
- 5:30 pm — A ‘Simple Supper’, with interactive worship stations available for personal prayer, in the Auditorium
- 7:30 pm — The Supper & the Shadows: Communion & Tenebrae, in the Meeting House
March 30: Good Friday
- 12:00 pm — Good Friday Prayer Vigil, until 3:00 pm, in the Meeting House: come and participate for as brief or long a time as you are able
April 1: Easter Sunday
- 6:30 am — Sunrise Service at the Storrs Cemetery, with Hot Easter Festival Breakfast in Auditorium following. (Please note the 6:30 am start time; this is a correction from what appeared in the March issue of The Carillon.)
- 9:00 am — Easter Egg Hunt for children, with coffee & light breakfast available for all in P.H. Lounge
- 10:00 am — Festival Worship Celebration in the Meeting House, with Pastor Matt preaching: “For Terror and Amazement Had Seized Them” (Scripture: Isaiah 25:6-9 & Mark 16:1-8)
