Kristallnacht at Temple B’nai Israel

Sunday, 7 November 2021 – 2:00-5:00 pm

Our guest speaker will be Marion Blumenthal Lazan, author of
Four Perfect Pebbles, a Holocaust Memoir.

Marion will share her story of “determination, perseverance, and above all hope.”  She speaks eloquently of her history as a child Holocaust detainee and now survivor.  Marion, at age 13, immigrated to Peoria Illinois with her mother.  She will relate events from that time to now including the exhilarating events of her many return visits to her home town in Germany; resulting in a high school being named after her.  Her objective is to have today’s generation hear first-hand accounts of that dark time in our history.

We hope to see you there.
