A big thank you to Pam and Dick Roberts for delivering 25 prayer squares made by Storrs Congregational Church to Brit’s Home in Grand Goave, Haiti. The knitting of the prayer squares was coordinated by Sue Schur and Deborah Gacek provided the gift tags. Storrs Congregational Church has a rich history with Brit’s Academy as Pastor Debbie has volunteered in Haiti since 2001 and began Brit’s Academy in Brit’s Home three years ago. The teachers and caregivers will be thrilled to receive our church prayers and to know people are thinking of them and wishing them well!
The Be Like Brit Foundation operates Brit’s Academy which provides in-house, quality education to 66 students in Haiti.
