Webinar of Climate Advocacy:
IREJN (Inter-Religious Eco-Justice Network) will be hosting a webinar on climate advocacy on Thursday, February 24 from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm. (This event was originally scheduled from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm, so this is a slight change.)
We will be looking at the top three climate bills in Connecticut for the state legislative session, as well as provide three climate actions that religious communities can do to increase energy and transportation equity, as well as reduce carbon emissions and improve air quality.  
Speakers will be Lori Brown from the CT League of Conservation Voters and Leticia Colon de Mejias from Efficiency for All. Simultaneous Spanish interpretation will be available. 
The legislative session is very short this year – it ends on May 9. Environmental advocates will need to be energized and focused for the whole session to get legislation through.
