Greetings, Members and Friends of the Storrs Congregational Church.
The following is exciting and welcome news brought about by the excellent work of our Senior Ministerial Search Committee led by Ray Joesten.
On Sunday July 10, 2022, members of the Storrs Congregational Church assembled and unanimously called the Reverend Diane Peterson Seaborn to be our 26^th Senior Minister.
Pastor Diane will be the first female Minister to lead our Church since it was established in 1737. There have been female Interim Ministers and Associate Ministers at SCC, but Pastor Diane will be the first female Minister to assume the leadership role.
Pastor Diane and her family will be moving to Storrs. She will begin her ministry with us on Tuesday, September 6, 2022. Her first worship service as our Senior Minister will be Sunday, September 11, 2022, and will include the serving of Communion. Please save the date so that you can be present and participate at the September 11th worship service.
